Nigerians Prefer Half Fit Nwabali To Uzoho
Training footages confirmed that injured Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali trained with the rest of the squad on Tuesday and Wednesday as he continues his recovery ahead of Friday’s Africa Cup of Nations quarter final game against Angola.
Nwabali was stretchered off in the round of 16 clash with Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions which Nigeria won 2-0.
The Chippa United shot stopper missed training on Monday, sending shivers down the spine of Nigerian football stakeholders.
With the game approaching, Nigerians are hoping that the 27 year old’s return will be enough for him to take part in Friday’s game at the Stade Felix Houphouet Boigny, Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire.

Although, a very few are of the opinion that the former Wikki Tourists man be rested if it will help him get in shape for the Semi Final if the Super Eagles defeat Angola’s Palancras Negras tomorrow at the Stade Felix Houphouet Boigny, Abidjan.
