NFF Settles Super Eagles’ Outstanding Bonuses Ahead Of Angola Clash
Reports have it that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) under the leadership of Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau has settled outstanding bonuses owed the Super Eagles.
The development comes barely twenty four hours to the kick off of the team’s quarter final duel with the Palancras Negras of Angola in the quarter final of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire.
Multiple sources say each players got thirty thousand dollars each for their group stage and round of 16 bonuses at the ongoing AFCON.
The development comes as a morale booster for the three time African Champions ahead of their game on Friday.
The news puts to rest insinuations that the Nigeria Football governing body is intentionally not disbursing funds released by the Federal government for the tournament.
On Thursday night, the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation held a meeting with the Super Eagles at their 5 – Star base in Abidjan, Sofitel Hotel where they were charged to go all out for victory against the Angolans.
