“Man City do your worst” – Man Utd fans cry out ahead of Manchester derby

313views

Manchester City and Manchester United will lock horns today (Sunday) in the highly-rated Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium, with both teams hoping to get one above the other.

Pep Guardiola’s side have enjoyed much of the success in this fixture in recent times, including a convincing 3-0 win in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford in October 2023.

The last time the two teams met at the Etihad, City thrashed their more successful neighbours 6-3, with a hat-trick from Erling Haaland and Phil Foden, as they went on to claim their third straight Premier League title, as well as also beating United 2-1 in the FA Cup final to clinch their first-ever treble in English football.

With the derby set to kick off at 4:30 WAT, fans of Erik Ten Hag’s United have taken to social media, urging their rivals to do their worst as they are not new to demoralising results, a trait that has become synonymous with the 20-time English champions.
