Iwobi, Others Set For National Team Retirement
There are reports that some of the current players in the Super Eagles that finished second at the just concluded 2023 Africa Cup of Nations are planning to retire from the National team.
Sources inside the Super Eagles camp are suggesting a lot of players are considering retirement.

Although names were not mentioned, but it’s believed that captain Ahmed Musa and defender Kenneth Omeruo are likely to be part of the list.
Most Valuable Player of the tournament William Troost Ekong is also speculated to be one of the players planning to quit the National team.
