Not Messi, Not Ronaldo, Moses Simon Names His Greatest Of All Time
Super Eagles winger Moses Simon is on a different pedestal compared to several other players in modern football.
One of the most popular argument or contest in World football is who the Greatest Player Of All Time Is.
Depending on the era, some people believe it’s the late Edson Arantes Do Nascimento popularly called Pele, while others are of the view that the accolade is for Diego Armando Maradona who is also no more.
However, recently people have adopted Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi who have dominated World football in the last two decades or thereabout.
Largely in World football today, if it’s not Pele or Maradona, it’s Ronaldo or Messi. However, Moses Simon in a recent viral video has another option.
He says Joshua Obaje who plays for Nigeria Premier Football League side Plateau United is his GOAT.
Joshua Obaje has in the past played for Heartland, Warri Wolves, Aso Clef of Algeria and Black Leopards .

Simon grew up in Kaduna, although originally from Benue State, so Obaje Joshua must have been a former team mate or one of those he looked up to while he was an aspiring football.
Simon is currently in the Super Eagles squad playing at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire.
