‘We need our culture back’ – Chelsea fans lament as woes continues with Spurs defeat
In the much-anticipated London Derby on Sunday, two second half goals from Oliver Skipp and Harry Kane gave Tottenham a 2-0 victory over Chelsea, as the North Londoners win their first league game over the Blues in eight tries at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Chelsea fans have taken to social media to vent their frustration following their sides woes under new manager Graham Potter. Some have called for a return of former manager Thomas Tuchel, who handed Chelsea the Champions League trophy in his first six months, while opposition fans savoured the moment to throw some much-needed banter.
still trying to figure out how Graham Potter fraud his way to Chelsea, I've checked his record at Brighton & others and there’s nothing appealing about his managerial career.

📉Out of all managers of Chelsea, Graham Potter has the worst Premier League record. #CFC

I think it’s time for this. Chelsea and the fans need stability and our culture back. We need a true winning mentality in these talented new generation of players. I say give it to JT till May. Good experience for him, stay on the phone to Jose and become his assistant in June. pic.twitter.com/lJCxB5IXOk

Normally when it comes to any football debate fans are divided, but the majority of Chelsea fans are upset. Would love to know what the thoughts of the decision makers at Chelsea. We just don’t look like scoring & the players are lacking confidence.

Chelsea has literally played like a relegation team since October. Thats 4 months minus WC.
13 games, 2-4-7 and 7-14 in goal difference.
During that period, we have also been knocked out in first match in FA cup and Carabao cup, and next Wed we may be out of CL. pic.twitter.com/lmVjdsKEPr

Chelsea fans don't let them tell you about patience, or you are spoilt. This manager has never proven he can handle this job. Or at this level and that's the truth.

Not sure where we go from here, it’s obvious that Chelsea will not sack Graham Potter, let’s just try and support him & the team. Miracles happen every day & just hope we can salvage something from this season. Really hope we can win our 2nd leg CL against Dortmund.

Chelsea’s next 5 fixtures:
Dortmund (H)
Leicester (A)
Everton (H)
Aston Villa (H)
Liverpool (H)Which if these games can Potter win?
Chelsea would be fighting relegation by the time they play Liverpool if they don’t sack this guy.

Timeline of next week for most Chelsea fans
Monday – PR article reiterating Potter stays
Wednesday/Thursday- people who were Potter Out today magically pretend he’s going to turn it around
Saturday- We lose, they don’t sack him
Cycle repeats the week after

It will be really funny if/when Chelsea fire Graham Potter and every top level manager they talk to to replace him has zero interest in playing any of the kids who are there on eight year contracts but have a list of six first teamers they want Todd to go get.
— Mike L. Goodman (@TheM_L_G) February 27, 2023

Man thought Abramovich was stupid for his hire and fire tactics but that filled our trophy cabinet and made chelsea a big club. Every club has got its own culture. We don’t entertain mediocrity, that’s who we are, That’s what Chelsea is!! pic.twitter.com/fdhfM5nrDh

So Potter says he accepts a potential sack due to poor results. I bet he started thinking that getting that fat layoff compensation is far juicier for him and his family than the stress of Chelsea job Lmao pic.twitter.com/hgBXZc7XLS
— Chelsea Pal 🦁 (@cfcPal) February 26, 2023
With the defeat, Potter’s team now has just one win and four goals scored in 2023. It’s also only two wins since November 2022, leaving them in 10th place, 14 points off the top four, and it’s becoming difficult for Chelsea fans to accept, with some questioning why the Englishman is still in charge.
