‘Super Eagles need results not stats and positives’ – Fans lament after Ecuador loss
Nigerians have expressed their disappointment after the Super Eagles bowed to a 1-0 loss to Ecuador in an international friendly match on Friday match.
The result was Nigeria’s second defeat under new coach Jose Peseiro within five days, after Mexico humbled them with a 2-1 loss on May 29.
After their latest defeat, Peseiro and NFF President Amaju Pinnick claimed that the Super Eagles are improving as they chase their first win since January 19 but fans completely disagree with the review.
In a series of tweets compiled by FansConnect, Nigerians are demanding results and not positives from the team.
Despite the sacrifice of staying awake to watch you guys yet you guys failed to win. I am highly disappointed.

This team keeps loosing and we always hear that there are lots of positives. The same crop of players that have been used over time. Our world ranking keeps going back and back. Something is definitely wrong.
