‘Sack Potter Now!’ – Fans enraged as Chelsea suffer home defeat to Southampton
Chelsea were yet again on the losing end as they were beaten 1-0 by bottom club Southampton at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The result was not what many, Graham Potter included, would have expected especially as the Saints were without a permanent manager following the sacking of Nathan Jones last week. Interim boss Ruben Selles however had James Ward-Prowse to thank for the result that takes them within four points of safety.
Due to the results, disgruntled fans around the world have taken to social media to request for the Englishman’s sack, while rival fans have also used the opportunity to banter the Stamford Bridge outfit.
