240views

It was a five-goal thriller between Arsenal and Manchester United in Sunday’s Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium, with the Gunners coming out on top as 3-2 winners.

Eddie Nketiah’s brace and a fantastic strike from Bukayo Saka sealed all three points for Arsenal as they fought back from a goal down to hand theErik ten Hag’s men their first loss in 11 games.

Mikel Arteta’s team are currently unbeaten in 13 Premier League matches, with 11 wins and two draws within that period.

The victory left Arsenal fans fulfilled and ecstatic as they successfully completed the revenge mission over their rivals, following a 3-1 loss to the 20-time champions in September 2022.

Arsenal continue as the Premier League leaders with 50 points from 19 games, the fifth time such a feat has been achieved in the English top division after Liverpool twice (2018-19 and 2019-20), Chelsea (2005-06), and Manchester City (2017-18).

They are five points clear of City in second and eleven points above Erik Ten Hag’s United, who sit in fourth.
