Nigeria has what it takes to go all the way in AFCON 2021- Eguavoen
The interim coach of the Nigerian Super Eagles, Austin Eguavoen has said that the Nigerian team are good enough to go all the way in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
In an interview posted on the Nigerian Football Federation TV, Eguavoen says all hands are on deck to see to it that the Eagles put smiles on the faces of Nigerians in Cameroon.
The Nigeria interim coach says he will be flexible in his approach to games at the tournament.
Eguavoen adds that he is having sleepless nights over expectations on the Nigerian team in Cameroon.
The ex Nigeria’s international also says the Eagles will play a number of friendlies but they will not be competitive matches so that players do not get injured.
But he believes that Nigeria will have a good tournament with the support of everyone, the players, coaching crew, the federation, the ministry and the Nigerian fans as well.
