Marcus Rashford scored the only goal as Manchester United defeated Real Betis 1-0 in the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 second leg on Thursday.

The Red Devils triumphed 4-1 in the first leg at Old Trafford and after multiple attempts in the return leg at Estadio Benito Villamarin, Rashford netted in the 56th minute with a brilliant shot from outside the penalty area.

The goal was Rashford’s 25th European goal and he became the youngest United player to reach that milestone at the age of 25. It left a lot of praise on social media for the United academy graduate who now has 27 goals and nine assists in all competitions.

He is also the top scorer in the Europa League this season with six goals, one ahead of Nigerian and Union St. Gilloise forward Victor Boniface and Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez.
