Man Utd defender Leny Yoro returns to individual training after foot surgery
Manchester United defender Leny Yoro has taken a significant step in his return to full fitness as he underwent individual training for the first time since his foot surgery.
The French centre-back suffered a foot injury in a 2-1 win over Arsenal in August, during United’s preseason tour of the United States.
The 18-year-old, who moved to Manchester in a big money move from Ligue 1 side Lille, has not played a competitive match for the Red Devils.
Yoro was pictured on grass on Monday, training individually at Carrington, signalling that his return to full fitness is just a matter of time as he has hit another milestone in his rehabilitation process.

A statement on United’s website read: “Manchester United defender Leny Yoro has been pictured passing a significant milestone in his bid to recover from the foot operation he underwent during the summer.”
“There is plenty of work still to do for the centre-back and he will begin the transition to group training when he is ready.
“A competitive debut for the Reds is not imminent, but it’s really positive to see our summer signing reach this stage of his recovery.”
The United No. 15’s return to injury is in line with the initial date of late October set by the club for his return.
Yoro has missed all 12 of United’s games this season, and Thursday’s trip to Istanbul to take on Fenerbahce in the UEFA Europa League clearly comes too soon for the defender.
