Mahrez Penalty goal not enough as Tottenham defeat Man City at the Etihad stadium

Manchester City suffered their second English Premier league (EPL) defeat after losing 2-3 to Tottenham at the Etihad stadium.

Liverpool 3-1 win against Norwich City on Saturday close the gap on Man City who lost 2-3 to Tottenham at the Etihad stadium. After the defeat, Man City is now leading Liverpool with 9 points, playing one more game than Liverpool who has 14 more games to play in the EPL opposed to Manchester City who has 13 more matches to play.

It was Tottenham who took the lead after four minutes through Dejan Kulusevski. Ilkay Gundogan scored the equalizing goal 12 twelve minutes to half-time. Both teams could not extend the lead before the half time. 14 minutes into the second half, Harry Kane scored the second goal for Tottenham.

Mohamed Salah scored the second goal 3 minutes later, before Luis Diaz scored the winning goal for Liverpool in the 81st minute.
