‘Just Magnifique’ – Fans are astounded by Mbappe’s display against Poland
Kylian Mbappe’s name was on everyone’s lips following his spectacular performance in France’s 3-1 win over Poland in Sunday’s round of 16 game at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The 23-year-old produced two exquisite goals and provided the assist for Olivier Giroud’s record-breaking goal for the Les Blues.
Fans around the world marvelled as the Paris Saint-Germain attacker became the youngest player since Pele in 1958 to score five World Cup goals in the knockout stage.
Mbappe’s brace was the ninth he has scored at the FIFA World Cup in his short career, making him the first player to accomplish such milestone before turning 24.
