Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be plying his trade in Spain for the foreseeable future, as the forward has joined La Liga side Barcelona from Arsenal on a permanent deal.

The striker has not featured for the Londoners since early December, falling out of favour with the manager Mikel Arteta for disciplinary issues that led to him being stripped of the Gunners captaincy before joining his national side, Gabon at the Africa Cup of Nations.

It has been reported that Aubameyang has taken a significant salary cut for Barcelona to be able to afford his services. Aubameyang joins the Catalan side on a free transfer, but Arsenal are reportedly saving 25 million pounds on his wages.

Donny van de Beek

Dutch midfielder, Donny van de Beek has made a move 30 miles from Old Trafford, as the Manchester United star has joined Everton on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Van de Beek struggled to cement a spot in the United starting 11 under the former manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and the situation was similar under the new interim manager Ralf Ragnick, prompting a move for the 24-year-old to Merseyside where he will play under new Toffees boss, Frank Lampard.

Van de Beek has expressed his desire to play regularly in order to keep his place in the Dutch national side and strengthen his bid for selection into the World Cup squad later this year.

Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer window saw plenty of movement through it on transfer deadline day with several players coming in, as well as players moving away from the club.

Dele Alli

Dele Alli has sealed a deadline day move to Everton that will eventually be worth £10 million ($13m), with the Tottenham midfielder joining new Toffees boss, Frank Lampard at Goodison Park. The 25-year-old England international has seen a switch away from Spurs speculated on for some time, with struggles for form holding him back in north London over recent years. But he has now clinched a fresh start, with Alli hoping to rediscover his spark on Merseyside and prove that he is no fading force.

Tanguy Ndombele

Tanguy Ndombele has moved to his home country France, back to the club that Spurs bought him from in 2019 as the 25 year old joined Olympique Lyonnais on loan until the end of the season. There is an option for Lyon to buy the French international when the loan deal expires.

Rodrigo Bentancur & Dejan Kulusevski

Two players have made their way to the Spurs side from Turin. 24 year-old Uruguayan, Rodrigo Bentancur joined the side on a permanent deal until 2026 whilst Swedish winger Dejan Kulusevski joins on loan from Juventus with an option to buy at the end of the 18-month spell. Spurs announced and welcomed both signings on social media.

Bryan Gil & Giovanni Lo Celso

They also announced on social media the exit of Bryan Gil, who joins Valencia on loan. The Spaniard heads back to La Liga after joining Spurs from Sevilla for 25 million euros last year. He may come up against his Tottenham teammate, Giovanni Lo Celso who moves to Villarreal for the remainder of the season. After a promising start to life at Spurs since his move from Real Betis in 2019, the Argentine has only made 9 Premier League appearances this season.

Aaron Ramsey

One player who left his club in search of more game time was Juventus midfielder, Aaron Ramsey. After falling out of form and favour at the Italian club, the Welshman officially joined Scottish club, Rangers on a loan deal until the end of the season. The former Arsenal player currently has a contract in Turin lasting until the end of the 2023 season, but has made just five appearances for Juventus and is yet to score any goals this campaign either.

  1. I hope Aubameyang does well at Barcelona…am sure he will check his attitude at the gate when he meets with a star studded team mates…..also wishing Dele Ali the best; he was a player I really thought would perform well at Tottenham and England….best wishes to others too…
