Confirmed: Emmanuel Dennis is out of the Nigeria 28-man Squad
The Nigeria Football Federation has announced that Emmanuel Dennis is out of the Nigeria’s 28-man squad, describing Watford attitude over his call up as “baring their fangs”.
The Watford star was due to represent Nigeria at the 2021 CAF Africa cup of Nations, but the Club said that the Email for his call up arrived late and the release of Emmanuel is their sole decision to make.
On the wake of this, the Nigeria Football Federation has announced that Dennis will no longer be representing Nigeria at AFCON saying the English club is “baring their fangs” in an official statement released by the Federation.
“In-form rapid raider Emmanuel Dennis whose English Premier League club is baring fangs, has been excused.”- NFF
While the Nigerian will no longer be available for Afcon 2021, he will be available for the Hornet’s key matches against Newcastle United, Norwich city, and FA cup third round against Leicester City.
