Arsenal star Saka lands in Lagos for holiday

Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka has arrived Lagos, Nigeria, to begin his holidays following the end of the 2022–23 Premier League season.

The 21-year-old was pictured at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Nigeria’s commercial capital on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.

Saka, who is one of Arsenal’s most important players, was instrumental in their push for their first league title in 18 years.

Although the Gunners finished second behind eventual winners Manchester City, Saka shone through the season with a plethora of excellent performances.

Saka, who plays for the Three Lions of England, was born to Nigerian immigrant parents in the United Kingdom and has chosen to spend part of his holiday back in the fatherland.

The mesmerizing forward also just penned a new lucrative deal worth around £15 million per year with Arsenal and is set to stay at the Emirates until 2027.

The Hale End Academy graduate finished the season with 15 goals and 11 assists, with 14 of the goals scored in the league.
