‘Africa to the world’ – Morocco’s World Cup feat sends social media into meltdown
Football fans across the world are celebrating Morocco following their historic 1-0 win over Portugal in the quarter-final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Youssef En-Nesyriโs first-half was enough to make the Atlas Lions become the first African country to qualify for the semi-final of the global competition.
No African country has progressed beyond the last-eight stage and the performances of Walid Regraguiโs side have revived Africaโs hope of winning the Mundial.

En-Nesyri gives Morocco the lead just before halftime and Portugal are about to find out that they are playing an away match here in Qatar. ๐ฅ๐ฅ
