The games between Mali and Mauritania; Gambia and Tunisia round up the group phase fixtures of AFCON 2021.

Mali defeated Mauritania, 2-0, to top Group F on goal difference.

Mauritania is the only loser of Group F, without a single point. They were defeated by other teams in the Group – Gambia, Tunisia and Mali.

Tunisia will square up against the Super Eagles on January 23 in the round of 16.

Gambia, the debutant who finished second in Group F will battle it out with Guinea on January 24 as they seek to secure a spot in the quarterfinals in their first appearance at AFCON.

Mali, the leader of Group F will play Equatorial Guinea in the round of 16 on January 26.
