Man Utd’s Noussair Mazraoui return to training after minor procedure
Manchester United defender Noussair Mazraoui has made a swift return to first team training, the Premier League club confirmed on Thursday.
The Morocco international trained with the rest of his teammates at Carrington just a week after reportedly undergoing a minor procedure after experiencing heart palpitations, which forced his withdrawal from their 0-0 draw at Aston Villa.
Mazraoui was spotted training alongside teammates Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo, who both pulled out of October’s international break with injuries and were unable to represent Argentina and Ivory Coast, respectively.
The Moroccan has been key for the Red Devils this season, with one assist in 10 appearances in all competitions, including seven starts.
Meanwhile, Dutch defender Tyrell Malacia was also present “in the first part of the group session”, having not played for Erik ten Hag’s side in over a year due to an undisclosed injury.
United currently sit 14th in league standings with eight points from their opening seven matches, and it is left to see if Mazraoui will play a part in their next game against Brentford on Saturday, October 19, as both Harry Maguire and Kobbie Mainoo have been ruled out with muscle injuries.
