11views

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson is set for a spell on the sidelines as the Brazilian is expected to be out for at least four weeks with a hamstring injury.

Alisson, who sustained the injury in the Reds’ 1-0 win at Crystal Palace on Saturday, is to be out until at least mid-November.

The Brazil international was replaced by Vitezslav Jaros after 79 minutes, with second choice goalie missing the game at Selhurst Park due to illness.

Alisson is not expected back before the next international break, which will take place between November 11-19.

During this period, Liverpool are expected to face the likes of  Chelsea, Arsenal, Brighton and Aston Villa, while they will play RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League and then Brighton in the EFL Cup.

Meanwhile, their first game after the November international break is at Southampton on the 24th, before playing Real Madrid, Manchester City, Newcastle United and local rivals Everton.
