Scare: Nwabali Misses Super Eagles Training

131views

Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali did not take part in today’s training at the Police College training pitch, Ecole, Cocody, Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire.

The Chippa United shot stopper was told by the coaching crew to have a walk through the pitch and was evidently limping all through, casting doubts on his availability for Friday’s quarter final encounter with Angola.

Francis Uzoho and Ojo Olorunleke trained fully and the former could return to goal when the game takes centre stage at the Stade Felix, Houphouet Boigny, Abidjan.

Apart from the injured goalkeeper, coach Jose Peseiro had the full complement of the twenty five players in camp.

Terem Moffi, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ahmed Musa who are yet to play at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations impressed in training and will be available for selection against the Palancras Negras of Angola.
