Slovak defender Milan Škriniar has completed his move to French champions Paris Saint-Germain, putting pen to paper on a five-year deal until 2028.
The 28-year-old moves to PSG following the expiration of his contract with inter Milan where he spent the last six seasons.
“I am very happy to be part of this wonderful Club”, Škriniar said. “PSG is one of the best clubs in the world, with world-class players and fantastic fans.
“I saw that, it’s a great for me. I’ve not even played yet and I’m already part of the club’s history,” he said on being the club’s first Slovak player.
“More seriously, I learned that when I signed my contract, I was proud of that, for my country and my family. I’m very happy about it, and it’s only the start.”
Škriniar joined the Nerazzurri from Sampdoria in 2017 after he was named the league’s best defender. He featured 246 times for Inter, scoring eleven goals and providing three assists.

He has been one of the most dominant defenders in world football and has enjoyed a successful spell in Italy where he won five titles with Inter, including the Serie A, two Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana.
The towering defender has been a part of the Slovakia national team since 2016 with three goals in 60 appearances and was appointed as the team’s captain in 2022 following the retirement of Marek Hamsik.
