Fans beg Arsenal not to bottle Premier League dream
Arsenal’s Premier League title hopes took a twist following their 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
The Gunners took a 2-0 lead courtesy of the Brazilian duo Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus but Liverpool still forced their way back through Mohamed Salah, who missed a penalty, and substitute Roberto Firmino.
Liverpool piled on the pressure for a winner but Arsenal had goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale to thank with his numerous breathtaking saves.
The result leaves Arsenal six points clear of Manchester City at the top. Opposition fans question whether Mikel Arteta’s men can still win the league as they still have to face City likewise tough opposition in West Ham United, Chelsea, Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Albion.
For the Arsenal fans, some still believe winning a first league title in 19 years is possible despite Sunday’s minor setback.
