Fans divided over Messi’s impact after PSG’s Champions League exit
Following Paris Saint-Germain’s elimination from the UEFA Champions League, football enthusiasts are divided over Lionel Messi’s contribution in Wednesday night’s defeat to Bayern Munich.
Messi managed to register a shot on target at the Allianz Arena as second-half goals from Eric Choupo-Moting and Serge Gnabry helped Bayern Munich race to 2-0 (3-0 aggregate) win.
The result dashed PSG’s hopes of making it past the Champions League round of 16 stage for the second consecutive season, leaving fans to doubt the impact of the 2022 World Cup winner in Christophe Gatlier’s squad.
