‘Most useless victory ever’ – Fans troll Chelsea despite win over Leeds United
Chelsea returned to winning ways with a 1-0 win over Leeds United in Saturday’s Premier League encounter at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues last won a competitive game against Crystal Palace in the league on January 15, which remained their only win in 2023 until the returning Wesley Fofana’s 53rd minute header. The goal was also Chelsea’s first in four matches.
The victory relieves a bit of pressure under manager Graham Potter but Chelsea fans have mixed feelings about the result as a lot still needs to be done to improve the team, especially in scoring goals. Furthermore, the score line did not stop rival fans from trolling the six-time Premier League winners, as many termed the victory as “useless”.
