Fans over the moon as Man United end trophy drought with Carabao Cup title
Manchester United fans were in celebratory mood after the Red Devils lifted their first trophy in six years by beating Newcastle United 2-0 in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday, thanks to goals from Casemiro and the in-form Marcus Rashford.
It was an ecstatic moment for the United faithful who have had to endure years of often mediocre performances that left them in shadows.
Many fans took to social media to express their joy at seeing their favorite club win a trophy again after a long period of absence.

For the best part of a decade Manchester United have lacked players that truly wanted to play for the club. Ten Hag's changed that environment in the space of 8 months. Sabitzer and Weghorst, both on loan, have bought into the team massively.

Luke Shaw is too good, and we haven’t seen anything yet from him. There is no time Shaw has been fit for a while without balling. I can’t wait for a Manchester United that’s got more control and territorial dominance under EtH.

The Red Devils’ resurgence and success this season owe a huge thanks to current manager Erik ten Hag, who has instilled discipline and a winning mentality after a rocky start to the season.
The Manchester-based club is still in the running in three other competitions (the Premier League, Europa League, and FA Cup), with many fans believing the team can challenge and triumph in them.
