‘This is how Super Eagles should play in every game’ – Nigerians on cloud nine after historic win against Sao Tome
Nigerians were left raving about the Super Eagles’ 10-star performance which saw them hammer Sao Tome and Principe 10-0 in their second group match in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Victor Osimhen led Jose Peseiro’s men to the historic win in Morocco with his four goals while Terem Moffi scored a brace followed by lone goals from Moses Simon, Oghenekaro Etebo, Ademola Lookman and Emmanuel Dennis.
The goal-fest at the Stade Adrar impressed Nigerians with a much-improved performance after the team struggled to beat Sierra Leone in their opening group fixture in Abuja on Friday.
If u praise super Eagles too much they will loose their next match.

In spite of the 10 goals scored by Nigeria today, I need more convincing to confirm if Pasiero is the right coach for Super Eagles.
We were not impressive against Sierra Leone

Was it nice to see the @NGSuperEagles pulverise #TeamSaoTome 10-0, in Monday’s #AFCON2023Q? Definitely. But the real test for @JosePeseiro’s team is when they meet the top dogs of African football at the #AFCON. The qualifiers, with very weak opponents, is no test…

The Super Eagles historical victory over Sao Tome & Principe must be attributed to the tactics of the new coach and a very playable/enjoyable pitch.
Not like that nonsense pitch at the National Stadium in Abuja.— Abiola 💫 (@TheNife_) June 14, 2022
Up @NGSuperEagles @SSE_NGA. @victorosimhen9 you are too much. You guys rock. Nigeria has made some people so sad that they see nothing good. Not even in angels dropping from heaven. You guys should just ignore them and keep up the spirit.

Nice job boys, this is what we want to see always. I am particularly happy for Victor

It has been a long time Nigeria scored up to 9 goals in a match. Outstanding performance regardless of the opposition. #AFCON2023Q #TotalEnergiesAFCONQ2023 Osimhen #bbcfootball #SuperEagles #Nigeria pic.twitter.com/AtgWraNzIT

Don’t have too much orgasmic reaction to the Super Eagles big win vs. Sao Tome & Principe.😆 They are Africa’s version of San Marino. You don’t need to sweat to win. The real deal is at AFCON 2023 proper. Don’t have high expectations because of this result. #STPNGA #AFCON2023Q

Impressive.
This is what we should be doing to the minnows at all times…there’s a lot advantage in it.— #observer (@ifileome4u) June 14, 2022
Omo, how some people are able to bring Peter Obi into Super Eagles 10-0 Victor over Sao Tome & Principe beats me. 😂 pic.twitter.com/cTxatVdYqp
