Iwobi wins Everton Goal of the Month award
Alex Iwobi’s last-minute winning goal against Newcastle United has been named Everton Goal of the Month for March.
The Super Eagles star drove forward in the 99th minute of stoppage-time for a one-two pass with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and he slotted his shot past goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.
The effort was Iwobi’s second Premier League goal of the season after his strike against Wolverhampton Wanderers in November.

Iwobi has played 20 league games for Frank Lampard’s side this season. He delivered an impressive performance on Saturday to help Everton beat Manchester United 1-0 at the Goodison Park.
The result boosted their survival chances, even though they remain in the 17th spot with 28 points after 30 matches.
