Ronadinho on why coaching isn’t an option for him

Brazil and Barcelona legend Ronaldinho said he has not thought of coaching because he does not have the patience in the dug-out.

The 42-year-old retired from football in 2015 after enjoying an illustrious career at club level and international scene which earned him individual accolades and several trophies.

His former teammates have switched to coaching but the 2005 Ballon d’Or winner continues to work as an ambassador for several organisations.

“I never imagined it because I think I have no patience (laughs),” Ronaldinho told Mundo Deportivo when asked about a coaching career.

“I am very happy with what I do, with children’s schools. Football has given me a lot and I try to help so that young people, children, can realize their dreams too.”

Ronaldinho further stressed his current love for Paris Saint-Germain whom he played for between 2001 and 2003 before he moved to Barcelona.

He recently returned to Parc des Princes in October when Mauricio Pochettino’s men battled RB Leipzig in a Uefa Champions League match.

“I’m not much for watching an entire game for 90 minutes, I’m more for watching the best moments, the goals,” he said.

“I like to look at where the good players are and today I like to look at Paris Saint Germain because Messi is there, Neymar is there, they have Mbappe. I like to watch good football.”
