AFCON 2021 Final: Watford’s Ismaila Sarr start for Senegal against Egypt – Senegal v Egypt starting lineups
Watford’s Ismaila Sarr start for Senegal in the final match of the tournament between the Teranga Lions and Pharaohs of Egypt.
This is the first AFCON start for the 23-year old after returning from injury. He came in as a substitute against Equatorial Guinea in the quarterfinals, scoring the third goal.
He also came in as a substitute against Burkina Faso in the semi-final where he provided the assist to Mane’s goal in the 87th minute.
Sadio Mane once again leads the Senegal attack while Salah lead the Egypt attack. Chelsea’s Edouard Mendy is in goal for Senegal and Gabaski is between the sticks for Egypt and he is expected to repeat his heroic performance against the Indomitable Lions.
