The squad numbers of the Super Eagles for the 2021 CAF Africa Nations cup have been revealed.
The Super Eagles have revealed their squad numbers for the 2021 CAF African cup of nations, with the majority of the players retaining their numbers.
The goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye retains the number 1, while Joe Aribo retains his number 10. Francis Uzoho, the second-choice goalkeeper has number 3. Daniel Akpeyi has number 6 while John Noble, the fourth goalkeeper, will represent Nigeria at Afcon with jersey number 27.
Super Eagles captain, Musa retains his number 7, as well as, the vice-captain, William Paul Troost-Ekong, number 5.
Kelechi Nwakali is wearing the famous number 25. Frank Onyeka wears number 8. Semi Ajayi that repaced the injured Ranger’s Leon Balogun, has his name on the number 6 Nigeria jersey. Henry Onyekeru that replaces Osimhen wears the number 11, while Peter Olayinka, that replaces Watford’s Dennis wears the number 28.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria kick off their campaign against the seven-time Afcon champion, Egypt on January 11.
