Boxing: Garcia ends Ghana star Tagoe’s 32-fight winning streak

Ghana boxer Emmanuel Tagoe was defeated by America’s Ryan Garcia by a unanimous point decision on Saturday.
Garcia cruised to victory in San Antonio with a 119-108, 118-109, 119-108 result.
Tagoe forced the bout to go into 12 rounds, however, he showed courage to stand up quickly after going on the floor late in round two.
The defeat ended Tagoe’s 32-fight winning streak, and it was his second loss since his first defeat on his professional debut 18 years ago [against Lante Addy in Accra].
Garcia, meanwhile, has now won 22 fights in a row.
